Finally our new school is finished! It has been three long years but worth the wait. We have had to deal with so much upheaval and transition but have finally got to the finishing post. The school is looking fantastic and it is great to see spacious classrooms, a super sports hall and new playground. You may have seen pictures of the new building we have posted on our website so far, but we will soon be updating the pictures to show our final school in all its glory. Check back soon to see the updates!

June 2011

Our school is really taking shape now. Our building projects are nearly finished and we are close to completing phase three of our build. In September we shall be reunited as a whole school when our KS2 classes are able to return to the main site as all our building work will be finished. We are hoping to get someone famous in to open our new school! Watch this space.

Update!

We are becoming a larger school! Yes plans are now in place and building work has begun to expand Curwen Primary School from two form to three form entry. Photos have been added to show you some of the developments and also how the rest of the school is taking shape.

Our new school build has begun and there has been lots of exciting developments. The old KS2 area has now been blocked off and the builders have set up their site at the end of the playground. They have also started the enabling part of the works by ripping out old walls and ceilings. The new school features are now being put into place and a quick view of the gallery will show you how our new KS2 area is taking shape. Once completed work will begin on phase 2 of the build which will mean our KS1 area being demolished and rebuilt much like our KS2 area.
